Updated 2021 Kimball J.O. Volleyball Info

Kimball Junior Olympic Volleyball Club, in partnership with Kimball Community Education, is planning for a 2021 Winter and Spring season. Our program is designed to provide girls in 6th-11th grade with the opportunity to enhance their individual and team volleyball skills through practices, play dates, and tournaments. Those interested in playing in our program need to register online through Kimball Community Education ($30 non-refundable) and attend our Team Placement Practice to be placed on one of our teams (12U-17U).

**CHANGE - TEAM PLACEMENT PRACTICE: Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021 / Wirth & North Gyms / Kimball HS / 3:00 pm (end time TBD)

ATTENTION: Minnesota's Governor Walz and the Minnesota Department of Health have given guidance that in-person youth, high school and adult activities can resume practices and activities on Jan. 4, 2021. Our district is is prepared with the COVID-19 restrictions and regulations for practices. We have received some guidance from the MDH on when we can resume competition with teams outside of our district. We are working with tournament sites to determine those protocols and schedules.

Our Kimball Junior Olympic Volleyball program strives to work with athletes, coaches, parents, as well as regional and national organizations to provide high quality programs at an affordable price. We encourage teamwork, respect, responsibility, discipline and positive attitudes.

We are looking for Kimball athletes ages 11-17 to fill our rosters and out-of-district athletes who do not have a JO Volleyball program in their own school district.

There is a $30 non-refundable registration fee.

Kimball teams (17U-16U) will continue with Sunday practices, Jan. 17-March 28, and plan to participate in JVA tournaments this winter and spring.

**CHANGEOur Kimball 14U and 13U teams are being moved to the MSF schedule with our 12U teams. These teams will wait to begin their JO season in early-March and will participate in MSF tournaments (14U, 13U and 12U players should still register and there will be an information meeting on Jan. 17, instead of practice).

Please note, our tournament schedule is pending on the continued and ever-changing guidance of Governor Walz and the MDHOnce we can determine our tournament schedule, then families will be charged the additional Kimball Junior Olympic Volleyball Club fee (amount pending on tournaments available).
