Boys Wrestling traveled all the way up to Parker's Prairie for an individual wrestling tournament on Saturday, Jan. 11. Parker's Prairie places the top 3 wrestlers only, and Kimball had 6 wrestlers that placed at this event. The wrestlers placing were:
Mark Schiefelbein (152) 1st, Jonny Serbus (152) 3rd, Frank Schiefelbein (160) 3rd, Garret Rosenow (215) 3rd, Miles Looman (121) 3rd, Teagan VanNurden (114) 2nd.
Kimball also had two JV wrestlers place in the top 2 for the JV tournament, Cody Hendricks placed 1st and Jack Schiefelbein placed 2nd. Kimball varsity placed 3rd as a team. Go Cubs!!

Congratulations to Mark Schiefelbein who earned his 125th career varsity win wrestling at Monticello on Saturday, Dec. 21. We are so proud of you Mark. Mark currently carries the highest win total currently on our team. He is also ranked 8th in the State of Minnesota at 152 pounds. Congratulations Mark Schiefelbein!!!

Saturday, Dec. 14 Varsity and JV Boys Wrestling headed to Delano for a 10 team tournament battling AA and AAA teams. Those 10 teams included: Delano, Forest Lake, Kenyon-Wanamingo, Kimball, Medford, Minneota, Rockford, St. Peter, Watertown/Mayer Lutheran, Mound Westonka.
Varsity lineup results are as follows: 107# Lance Schiefelbein 7th, 114# Max Schiefelbein 4th, 121# Miles Looman 6th, 127# Ryder Schwieters 5th, 133 # Karson Schmidt 6th, 152# Mark Schiefelbein 1st, 160# Frank Schiefelbein 10th, and 172# Jonny Serbus 7th.

An amazing Football Season has come to an end at the Semifinals in the State Tournament. The Cubs lost a very tough match to Jackson County Central 26-34. But these boys need to hold their heads high, they played a great game. 2024 has been such an amazing ride with so many accomplishments that we haven't achieved in many, many years... we are 2024 Rooster Bowl Champions, District Champions, Section Champions, Semifinals in State Finalist, and hold an amazing 11-1 record.
This also is also a bittersweet ending for 10 seniors and senior families. You will be missed, but now you will be forever part of Kimball's History and this town is so proud of you and your teammates!! The Boys are Headed to US Bank!!!! 5AA Champion Kimball (#1 seed) beat Section 7AA Champion Moose Lake/Willow River (#4 seed), 38-0 in the State Quarterfinals, now advance to State Semifinals where they will battle a tough Jackson County Central (3AA) Team on Friday, Nov. 15 at 9:00am at the US Bank Stadium. The Cubs are 11-0! More info will come next week!! Let's Go Boys!!!! Keep it going!!!!

Heading to STATE!!!! Kimball defeated Holdingford 26-20 for the Section 5-2A Championship and are State Bound for the first time since 1991!!! The Cubs are now 10-0!

Kimball advances to the Section Championship after beating Royalton 37-0. Kimball will face Holdingford for the Section Championship at St. John's Friday, Nov. 1.

Kimball Cubs are District Champions!!! The Cubs beat St. Cloud Cathedral tonight with a score of 42-7 on Senior Night/Parents Night. Your Cubs are 8-0 to end the regular season! Way to go Cubs.

Congratulations to the FFA Trapshooting team. They took 12th out of 51 teams at the State Tournament. Team members include Jameson Chapman, Cruz Gohmann, Tayler Verhey, Tyler Wylie and Jonny Serbus.
Huge win for the Cubs (seated #6), beat Holdingford (seated #5) 34-8. This was a HUGE win for your Cubs who are now 6-0!! They will face EVW (#4) @ Kimball next Friday for The Rooster Bowl and Homecoming! Great Job Cubs!!!

Volleyball won in 3 against HLWW.
8th Grade Football won 34-0 vs Holdingford, 7th Grade won 14-6 vs. Holdingford.
8th Grade Volleyball won vs. Royalton 2-1, 7th Grade lost to Royalton 1-3.
Varsity Football record is now 5-0 with a 56-8 win over Maple Lake on Friday, Sept. 27.
