Wrestling went to a very tough Glencoe-Silver Lake tournament on Saturday, Dec. 2, to try our luck against AAA and AA teams. Our team walked away with 3 individuals placing in the finals:
Hank Meyer- 2nd, Mark Schiefelbein -3rd, William Serbus -6th.
On the JV team Brock Libbesmeier went 3-0. Congratulations wrestlers.

7th grade won 4 games to 0, 8th Grade won 3 games to 1.

7th grade won 16-8, 8th grade won 18-8.

Trap Shooting takes 2nd place at the State Tournament!
Congratulations to the Kimball FFA Trap Shooting Varsity Team that took 2nd place at the State Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 30 in Marshall with a score of 206. Team members consisted of William Serbus, Jonny Serbus, Tayler Verhey, Tyler Wylie and Davis Burg, out of 66 teams Kimball snagged the 2nd place spot.
This is the 2nd year the Varsity team has made it to the State Tournament, last year they placed 22nd.
Individually Kimball also had 2 individuals place in the top 20 out of 281 shooters. William Serbus placed 16th with a score of 43 out of 50 and Tayler Verhey took home the 1st place CHAMPIONSHIP spot with a score of 48 out of 50! Congratulations Tayler and William.
Tyler Wylie shot a perfect 25, and was the only perfect for the day! Way to go Tyler!
Kimball B team placed 50th out of 66. Team members consisted of Austin Decknatel, Jackie Merten and Hunter Orbeck.

JH Football had a strong showing vs. Paynesville yesterday, 7th Grade won 8-0, and 8th Grade won 26-6. Go Cubs!

The Kimball HS Trap Team qualified for the The Minnesota State High School League State Championship this Friday, June 23rd, at the Minneapolis Gun Club – Prior Lake, MN!! There will be a send off Friday morning at 6:30am at the Kimball Rod and Gun Club!
Our team of 5 to represent Kimball are: Kaden Fruth, Sawyer Kenning, Alex Zoller, Mason Christensen, and Sawyer Denny.
Gavin Mesenrbrink & Tayler Verhey are our supporting alternate shooters.

Congratulations to the track team for their performance at the 12 team subsection meet last night. The girls are subsection champions and the guys finished 3! There are 38 athletes (21 girls and 17 boys) advancing to the section meet at St. John's next Wednesday! Great Job and Good Luck!!!

Softball advances in playoffs with 15-0 win over Holdingford (in 4 innings). Natalie Loehrer hit a walk off 3 run Home Run in the bottom of the 4th, and Riley Fischer threw a no hitter! Congratulations Softball!!!
