George Jensen
Class of 1963
George Jensen is a 1963 graduate of Kimball. George played 4 sports in high school. He played football, basketball, baseball and ran track. George was all conference his senior year in football. He was chosen as prep star athlete of the week in football his senior year as well. George was selected to the all district 19 team in basketball during his senior year. He was selected as co-captain his senior year in football, basketball and track. After graduation George played a year of football at Augsburg College. George served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. After graduating from Augsburg, George worked for Stearns Electric in Melrose. George resides in Melrose where he and his wife Diane have raised two sons. He is very active in the community and their athletics. He has coached elementary football, officiates 9th grade football and works the scorers table for boys basketball. He always keeps up with scores and news about Kimball by reading Tri County News or St. Cloud Times. Congratulations George Jensen on your induction into the Kimball hall of fame!
