Kimball Area Public Schools

Jane graduated in 1987 from Kimball Area High School. Jane was all conference in basketball and volleyball. She was all state honorable mention in basketball and was an all star game participant. She is Kimball’s all-time scoring and rebounding leader. She was the first girl to score 1000 points. She went on to play basketball for Northern State and was recently inducted into the Northern State Hall of Fame for Athletics. She earned a bachelors degree in English and a nursing degree after she finished at Northern State. She was part of three national play-off teams and was co-captain her junior and senior seasons earning all conference honors three times. When she finished her career Hanson ranked in the top 10 in scoring rebounding field goal percentage and blocked shots.
