Neal Spaulding
Class of 1961

Neal Spaulding was a 1961 graduate of Kimball. Neal played 4 sports in high school: football, basketball, baseball and ran track. Neal started in all sports for 3 years. Neal’s senior year Kimball was an outstanding one. His teams won the conference in football, basketball and baseball. This was one of the best years ever in the history of Kimball athletics. He was selected as all conference for 2 years in football. In basketball Neal was selected all conference and was on the all district team in 1961. Neal and his wife Mary started youth sports in Kimball. They started elementary football, basketball and baseball. They wanted a head start for their three sons who were all involved in athletics. Neal started working at the Ford plant in St Paul right out of high school for 45 years. Neal resides in Kimball where you will see him on most nights watching his grandchildren participating in sports at Kimball, Annandale or St. Thomas University. Congratulations Neal Spaulding on your induction into the Kimball hall of fame!
