Ted Greely
Class of 1988

Ted graduated from Kimball High School in 1988. Ted participated in football, wrestling and baseball. He lettered 13 times in 3 sports. He lettered 4 years in football as a middle linebacker and offensive guard. Ted was a 3-time all conference pick in 1985, 86, and 87. He was also selected to the 1985, 86, 87 All Area Team. In 1985, 86, and 87 he was selected as the most valuable defensive back in the Central MN Conference and was selected as All State in 1987. Ted Greely’s state record for MN solo tackles is 272, 2nd in state. Solo and assisted tackles is 553 which was 4th in state. These are career individual stats from 1985, 86, 87 recorded in MN state high school league, 2010. Ted also is honored in the Pigskin Pride football, celebrating a century of MN football, limited edition 2000. At that time his solo and assist tackle record was listed 3rd in the state at 553.


Ted was also a 5 year letterwinner in wrestling at 167 pounds, 185, and Heavyweight. In wrestling Greely had a 106-21 career record and was a state entrant his Junior year. His senior year he had a 31-1 record.
In baseball he lettered 4 years as a catcher.


After graduating from high school in 1988, Ted played football for five years at UMN-Duluth. In 1992 he was all conference first team as an Center on Offense.
