Tom Marquardt
Class of 1976
Tom Marquardt is a 1976 graduate of Kimball high school. Tom was an 11-time letter winner in football, basketball and baseball. Marquardt was also an outstanding student being a member of the national honor society. Tom was Wright county all conference player in basketball and baseball his senior year. After graduation Tom played baseball at St. Cloud State University. He was one of the original members to start the Kimball sports boosters. Tom has been running the score clock and book for basketball games for the past 20 years at Kimball. He has contributed to Kimball athletics with his scorekeeping and his involvement with the express team. He played a leading role in rebuilding the city of Kimball baseball field as you see it today. Mr. Marquardt is still working to improve the facility with lights and a grandstand. Tom is no stranger to hall of fame status, because he was inducted into the Minnesota baseball hall of fame in 2009. Mr. Baseball as many of us know him, resides in Kimball. He and his wife Cindy, have raised their three sons in Kimball. Tom works at Arnolds Company as a Warranty Administrator. Congratulations Tom Marquardt on your induction into our hall of fame.
