Kimball Area JO VB

Kimball Area Community Education is planning for a 2025-26 Winter and Spring Junior Olympic Volleyball season. Our program is designed to provide girls in 6th-11th grade with the opportunity to enhance their individual and team volleyball skills through practices, play dates, and tournaments.

Those interested in playing in our program need to register online through Kimball Community Education ($50 non-refundable) and attend our Team Placement Practice on Sunday, Nov. 2 (6th and 7th graders) or Sunday, Nov. 9 (8th-11th graders), to be placed on one of our teams (12U-18U).

Team Placement Practice (8th-11th graders) - REGISTER

Our Kimball Area Junior Olympic Volleyball program strives to work with athletes, coaches, parents, as well as regional and national organizations to provide high quality programs at an affordable price. We encourage teamwork, respect, responsibility, discipline and positive attitudes.

We are looking for Kimball athletes in grades 6-11 (ages 11-18) to fill our rosters, and out-of-district athletes who do not have a JO Volleyball program in their own school district. We will fill the rosters with Kimball students first. If there is space left on rosters, then we will open the rosters up to out-of-district athletes.

There is a $50 non-refundable registration fee to participate in the Team Placement Practice on Nov. 2 or Nov. 9, 2025.

2025-26 PROGRAM SCHEDULE CHANGES

  • Kimball 12U-18U teams will practice on Sundays, starting Jan. 4, 2026.

  • The program fee for 12U-18U players to participate in 2025-26 Kimball Area JO Volleyball will be $350 per player (in addition to the non-refundable $50 registration fee). This $350 fee covers the following expenditures: Association fees, 4-5 tournament entry fees, coaches' stipends, JO coordinator's stipend, uniform and equipment.

  • Pending the future of the local area Youth REC VB program (for 5th and 6th graders), we may try to add a 10U JO VB program, which would start in March of 2026. Those details will come out after the winter break.
