Kimball Area Theater is preparing to showcase its upcoming Fall Musical, Mary Poppins the Musical. Performances are scheduled for Nov. 14 (7:00 pm), Nov. 15 (1:00 pm & 7:00 pm) and Nov. 16 (2:00 pm) in the cafetorium at the Kimball Area High School.
Directed by Kenzie Traurig, the 47 cast members and 6 crew members range from 4th-12th grade. Also assisting with the Fall Musical are Music Director Erin Durga, Technical Director Isabelle Miller, Stage Manager Rachel Kuebelbeck and Choreography Director Erin Donnay.
According to broadwayworld.com, Mary Poppins the Musical doesn’t just rehash a classic, but deepens it, offering a sweet and magical experience that speaks to children and adults alike.
Admission will be $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Non-school-aged children (ages 0-5) are free. Kimball staff members also receive free admission to the shows. Tickets will be sold at door #10 on the south side of the high school (no pre-sale tickets). Doors will open one hour prior to showtime.
Flowers and concessions will be available for purchase (cash only) at the special events as well.
Mark your calendars for Nov. 14-16 and come out to support the Kimball Area Theatre program as this timeless classic of Mary Poppins the Musical will provide a refresher course on kindness, empathy, and the importance of morals. All are welcome to attend.
