Congratulations to the Kimball Area middle school robotics team 739G that has qualified for the 2026 World Championships.
The VEX Robotics World Championship will take place April 25-27, 2026 at the America's Center in St. Louis. The annual event brings together the top VEX IQ Robotics Competition, VEX V5 Robotics Competition, and VEX U Robotics Competition teams from around the globe to celebrate their accomplishments and participate in the 2025-2026 games to be crowned champions.
Kimball's middle school robotics team consists of Jaxson Holmes, Ben Kunkel, Avery Ahlbrecht and Joe Ouke. The Cubs will be coached by Mike Kunkel and Nick Ouke.
There are 13 teams from Minnesota attending the World's Championships this weekend and nearly 500 middle school teams from across the world competing in the event.
A send-off at the high school will take place between 7:30-8:00 am at door 10 on April 24. All are welcome to come on out and cheer on Team 739G. Good luck Cubs!
