Kimball Area Maine Prairie Theater Company, in partnership with Kimball Area Community Education, is preparing its summer community theater performance of “Footloose – The Musical.”
Led by director Kenzie Traurig, the 38-member cast will perform four shows over Kimball Days in early August at the Kimball Area High School Cafetorium. There will be a FREE show for local senior citizens on Thursday, August 6, starting at 1:00 pm at the high school. Park in the south lot and enter door #10. Doors open at 12:30 pm for the 1:00 pm matinee.
Opening night is slated for 7:00 pm on Friday, August 7. The evening show on Saturday, August 8, also begins at 7:00 pm, while the final show is set for 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 9, after the Kimball Days softball tournament wraps up.
Admission will be $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and students (cash or check only). Children ages 0-5 are free. Doors will open one hour prior to showtime on August 7-9. Park in the south lot at the high school and enter door #10.
A special “thank you” to Kenzie Traurig (director), Ella Myers (assistant director) and Isabelle Miller (tech director), Riley Spoden and Erin Durga (music directors) and Rylin Dierkes (dance choreographer), along with four stage crew members, who have been working hard with the production this summer.
All are encouraged to attend.
