Junior Cubs Basketball returns to Kimball in 2022. Kimball's Head Boys Basketball Coach Jay Klein and Head Girls Basketball Coach Jeremy Kuechle have put together a Jr. Cubs elementary basketball program. The coaches will instruct the fundamental skills of basketball on six Saturday mornings at the Kimball elementary gym. The first practice is scheduled for Jan. 15. Students in grades K-2 will practice from 8-9 am while students in grades 3-6 will practice from 9-10 am. Program fee is $30, which includes a t-shirt. Participants will get to display their skills at halftime of a Kimball varsity basketball game, yet to be determined.
