Registration is now open for 2022 Summer Community Education programming in Kimball. Community members can register online or contact the Community Ed office for more details at celest.stang@kimball.k12.mn.us or 320-398-7700 X 1112.

Community Ed Recreation & Enrichment Programs (Youth & Adult)

*LAST DAY OF SCHOOL (PreK-12th grade) & Last day of Cubs Club for the school year

Adult Defensive Driving Classes

  • June 7, 2022 (4-Hour Refresher Course)
  • 12:00-4:00 PM / Kimball Area High School
  • Contact the CE office to register for a 4-hour refresher or an 8-hour defensive driving class

 Driver’s Education - (Age 14 years, 9 months+)

    • Summer Session: June 6-10/13-18, 2022
    • 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

    • Cost: $475 (includes 30 hours of classroom instruction, MN Driver’s Manual and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction)

Kimball Cubs Club - School Age Child Care  (Age 3 –  Gr. 5)

Kimball Area Play & Learn Preschool & Enrichment / ECFE

  • Kimball Area’s Play & Learn Preschool program is 4-Star Parent Aware rated and utilizes the Creative Curriculum for children ages 3-5.
  • 2022 Preschool Graduation is scheduled for May 19 at 6:00 PM in the Kimball Elementary Gym. 
  • Registration for the 2022-23 school year has started.
  • Kimball ECFE will offer Summer Story Time at the Kimball Public Library on June 20, July 18, August 1 and 15.

Kimball Area Community Education continues to look for an adult Yoga instructor to teach in-person classes and a dance teacher for youth and adult classes. We are also looking for more community members to join the Community Education Advisory Council.
