Kimball Area Sweetheart Dance

Kimball Area's Early Childhood and Family Education (ECFE) program hosted its third Sweetheart Dance on Feb. 10 for children (ages birth-5th grade) and their favorite adult. Over 250 guests enjoyed music and dancing, a photo booth with props, crafts, fun games, snacks and refreshments.

Traut Companies donated five cases of bottled water while Sam’s Club of Sartell donated over 150 cookies for the event. Flowers were provided by Chickadee Tree Floral & Gifts in Kimball.

All proceeds from the event will go towards the Kimball Area Early Childhood program for an anticipated future playground for our young learners.

“Thank you to everyone who attended our Sweetheart Dance,” said Kimball’s Director of Community Education, Celest Stang. “This special event is only made possible by the hard work of our Early Childhood staff along with the participation and support of our Kimball area community members and families.  Also, a special thanks for the generous donations from local businesses. I’m very proud of our Early Childhood programs here in Kimball and am looking forward to exciting opportunities ahead.”
