Kimball's Activities Director, Clay Anderson, recognized Elaina Fink and Hunter Gebhardt before the boy's basketball game on Jan. 28 for being named Kimball’s Triple 'A' candidates. The Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award, commonly known as the Triple 'A' Award, honors high school seniors throughout the state who have a 3.0+ grade point average and who participate in MSHSL-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities. Congrats again to Elaina Fink who was the winner of the Sub-Section and advanced to the Section Finals. #KimballProud

Kimball Robotics hosted its 8th annual “Super Mega” robotics competition on Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Kimball Area High School. There were 127 teams in grades 4-12 that participated in the event, making it the second-largest, one-day robotics event in the state of Minnesota behind the upcoming State Championships in late February and early March. Kimball boy's varsity basketball used balanced scoring on Jan. 23 to upend ACGC, 69-55, and improve to 6-1 in the CMC and 8-3 overall this season. Congrats to senior post, Jed Spaulding, who became the school's all-time career leading rebounder, surpassing the previous record of 865 held by Jarod Merchant. Fans enjoyed a halftime show, highlighted by 3rd and 4th grade boys playing 3-on-3. The Cubs earned a clean sweep with JV and C-squad wins as well over the Falcons. Our boy's Varsity Basketball team will be playing a game at the Target Center on Saturday, February 8th at 12:50 vs. Swanville. The ticket you purchase is also good for the Timberwolves game that evening.

The Kimball Wrestling Booster Club had a successful 12-team tournament yesterday and today is prepared to host its 46th Annual Youth Wrestling Individual Open Tournament on Sunday, Jan. 19, at the Kimball Area High School.
The individual open competitions (ages Preschool-6th grade) includes a new Girl's Division as well.
The Cubs are anticipating 350-400 youth wrestlers for the individual tournament.
