Former Kimball Scholarship recipient stories wanted!

Give back to your local community through scholarships for our graduating senior class!

35 students in grades 3-8 were able to participate in the SPARK STEM program put on by Resource Training and Solutions at St Cloud State University on Tuesday, January 7. It was a great day of learning and doing. Students were able to attend a keynote speaker, Dazzling Dave the yo-yo master. They also participated in sessions about robotics, electrical engineering, the engineering design process, and native species of MN.







Kimball Area's National Honor Society has scheduled its annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser for Thursday, Jan. 9, from 4:30-7:00 pm in the high school cafetorium.
Dinner tickets will be sold at door #10 on the south side of the facility. Adults (ages 13+) are $10, students (ages 5-12) are $5 and children 4 years of age and younger are free.
The dinner will include one plate of spaghetti (with or without meat sauce), a breadstick, salad, a lemonade drink and one dessert choice.
Curbside pick-up orders will also be available on Jan. 9.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the Kimball Area NHS community projects and membership.

Girls Basketball vs. Paynesville: Congratulations to Hope Kuechle, she tied the school record for assists in a single game with 13. Varsity: 63-45 (W), JV: 27-18 (W), C-Squad: 11-22 (L).
Boys Basketball vs. Maple Lake: Varsity 94-52 (W), JV 72-28 (W), C-Squad 48-10 (W).

Congrats to the Kimball Area youth boy's basketball teams (Gr. 4-6) that competed in the 2025 Kimball Bear Claw Classic on Jan. 5 at the high school. The 6th grade team placed 2nd overall while the 5th grade team brought home a 3rd place medal. Thank you to the Kimball Sports Boosters for organizing two successful tournaments over the weekend. #KimballCommunityEd

Kimball Sports Boosters, in partnership with Kimball Area Community Ed, hosted 24 youth girl's basketball teams (Gr. 4-6) in the 2025 Kimball Bear Claw Classic on Jan. 4. Way to play hard Cubs! Kimball will now host the youth boy's basketball tournament (Gr. 4-6) tomorrow, Jan. 5, at the high school. Fans can park in the north lot and enter door #2, or park in the south lot and enter door #10. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and students, children 4 and under are free. Junior wrestler Abby Fischer placed 2nd overall in the advanced bracket, sophomores Veronica Reek and Kylie VanNurden both placed 3rd in their respective weight classes, while junior Gabby Davis placed 7th.
