A friendly reminder that Stearns County Emergency Management, along with numerous local first responder and local government agencies, will be conducting a training exercise this evening, Nov. 1, starting at 4 pm in the city of Kimball. Please do not park in the south lot of the high school tonight. Residents should be aware that there will be an increased presence of emergency vehicles in the area during this time. The presence of these emergency vehicles should not be a cause for concern. #StrongerTogether

Kimball Area Community Ed had 14 students in grades 3-4 complete a 4-week session of Vex GO Robotics programming this month. Thank you to the volunteer parents who coached this group of students to build and control team robots. Teamwork works. #KimballRobotics

Over 170 community members enjoyed the Halloween Festival in Kimball on Oct. 29. Festivities included a Trunk-or-Treat outside and a Haunted House and Carnival games inside. Thank you to the Kimball Fine Arts Booster Club, FFA members and high school students who volunteered at the event. All proceeds will benefit the Fine Arts high school trip to Nashville and Memphis in March of 2024. A spook-tacular time was had by all!

EV-W-K Cross Country boys and girls teams competed in the Section 8AA meet in Little Falls on Oct. 26. Henry Lemke stamped his ticket to the State Championships, crossing the finish line in 4th place with an impressive time of 16:00.80. Congrats on a great season runners!
