On Wednesday, May 28th, we had individuals qualify for the State Track and Field meet!! The individuals are: State Qualifying Boys: 1600 Meter Run and 3200 Meter Run: Henry Lemke 4x100 Meter Relay: Owen Mortenson, Kole Knaus, Brody Hooper, William Ballard (alternates Tyler Charboneau, Huxley Zoller) State Qualifying Girls: 4x200 Meter Relay: Jordyn Theis, Cambel Hesse, Ellie Becker, Hope Kuechle (alternates Emma Wirz, Ava Holmgren, Miley Kuechle) 4x400 Meter Relay:Cambel Hesse, Alayna Haag, Jocelyn Zoller, Hope Kuechle, (alternates Ava Holmgren, Miley Kuechle, Ellie Becker) 100 Meter Hurdles and 300 Meter Hurdles: Jocelyn Zoller 400 Meter Dash: Hope Kuechle High Jump and Pole Vault: Ellie Becker Triple Jump: Miley Kuechle The Class A State Track and Field meet will be held on Tuesday, June 10th and Wednesday, June 11th at St. Michael-Albertville High School. The send-off will start at 12:30 in the Brooks St. Lobby at the EVW High School. We will then head to Kimball High School for a send-off starting at 1:00. Congrats to the Kimball 12U softball squad that placed 2nd in the gold division at the Zimmerman tourney on June 1. The Cubs played 5 games in one day, including wins over Zimmerman, Buffalo and St. Francis. #KimballCommunityEd

Due to inclement weather, all youth softball practices and the summer community theater rehearsal on June 2 at the Kimball Area High School have been canceled.

Seventh grade students made cribbage boards this year. They used a variety of tools including a hand drill, finishing sander, router, miter saw, belt sander and disc sander. Thank you to Mr. Lavalle for teaching our students!

A few final pictures of our last day at KES. Graduating seniors did a walk-thru of our hallways this morning so the younger students could see their accomplishments and cheer them on. The afternoon brought families in to join us for our annual picnic lunch and it was a great turn out! It's always a bittersweet day for students and staff, but we look forward to seeing everyone again in the fall!

No. 13-seeded Kimball Baseball suffered a 2-7 loss to No. 5 Albany in the second round of Section 6AA playoff action on May 28. The Cubs will now face No. 8 Foley tomorrow afternoon, May 29. The game has been moved up to a 1 pm start time at Dick Putz Field in St. Cloud. Good luck Cubs!

"No more pencils, no more books!"....just lots of fun traditions to celebrate the last couple days of the 2024-2025 school year at KES. Students took on teachers in a lively kickball matchup this afternoon (winners depend on who you ask). We ended the day with staff spraying the buses as the kiddos head home for the day! As you can see from the fun being had, this is a favorite of students and staff alike. We will end the year tomorrow with our annual picnic. Wishing everyone a great summer break!
