Kimball Area Post Prom apparel orders can be picked up tonight, August 28, before the Kimball Cubs varsity football game. Kimball Volleyball opened its 2025 season with a non-conference tilt at Spectrum in front of an energetic crowd on August 26. The Cubs put up a valiant effort against the Sting, forcing the match to a 5th and deciding set. Kimball fell short in the final set by a score of 13-15. Kimball's JV team played well tonight, fighting back from a 15-24 deficit in the first set to tie the game at 24-24, before falling 25-27 and 21-25 in their first match of the season. Way to go Cubs! #KimballVolleyball

The Stearns County Sheriff's office is hosting an information meeting for their law enforcement explorer program on Sunday, August 17, at 6:00 pm in St. Cloud. Any youth interested in a potential law enforcement career, ages 15-20, are invited to attend. Contact sheriffexplorer@stearnscountymn.gov with questions.
