Congrats to the Kimball Cubs volleyball high school squads that earned a clean sweep over Litchfield on Sept. 12. Varsity won 3-1, Junior Varsity won 2-1 and C squad came from behind to earn the 2-1 victory. Way to go Cubs! #KimballVolleyball

Due to the anticipated inclement weather tonight, youth flag football practice for grades 5-6 has been moved inside to the North Gym at the high school on Sept. 11. Drop-off and pick-up will be at Door #2 on the North side of the facility. Dress in layers, bring dry tennis shoes to wear in the gym and a water bottle. GO CUBS!

EV-W-K Cross Country had a strong showing at the Mark Alcorn Invitational in Holdingford on Sept. 7. Henry Lemke led the boy's varsity squad with a 3rd place finish in 16:50.13. The girl's varsity team was led by Brookelyn Kuechle with a time of 23:14.74, crossing the finish line in 18th place. The junior varsity teams were led by Jordyn Theis (3rd / 26:56.57) and Andray Stang (44th / 24:55.07). Also highlighting the afternoon were top-10 finishes by Nate Ingram (7th / 14:08.28) and Evan Molitor (8th / 14:09.59) in the junior high boy's race. Ava Holmgren topped the junior high girl's race for EV-W-K with a 20th place finish in 16:48.99. Way to go runners!

The legendary Mr. Joe Stangle will be supervising the league and sharing his expertise chess knowledge. EV-W-K boys and girls cross country kicked off its 2023 season at the Maple Lake CC Invite on Sept. 1. There were 13 schools in attendance at Robert Ney Park. The varsity girls team placed 8th overall, led by Brookelyn Kuechle in 20th place (23:22.2). Gavin Arens (19:24.1) led the varsity boys with an 11th place finish. The junior varsity girls squad tabbed a 3rd place finish. They were led by Brooklyn Molitor (18th place / 27:37.2) and Erica Greenwald (20th place / 28:06.2). Miley Kuechle completed the junior high girls race in 4th place (11:09.4) while the junior high boys team inked a 5th place finish behind the stellar running of Nate Ingram (9th place / 10:16.6) and Evan Molitor (20th place / 10:33.1). Way to go runners!
