The 2025 Senior Scholarship Dessert Dash was held on May 7 at Kimball Area High School. The scholarship recipients bring their own dessert to be auctioned off by the highest bidding table. Our Dessert Dash raised more than $3,400 for next year's scholarship recipients. It was fun to see the students' creativity and culinary skills displayed. We enjoyed the inspiration and humor of speaker Aaron Cross. Following the Dessert Dash, we had our annual Awards Ceremony. We were able to award $38,500 to this year's graduating class!!! A record-breaking night! We also had some independent scholarships awarded tonight as well. Kimball Senior Scholarship Org had 26 scholarship recipients. Thank you to all of our community donors. This evening would not be possible without your support!!

Kimball Softball cruised past BBE in CMC action on May 10. Varsity shutout the Jaguars 10-0 and 21-0 while the junior varsity Cubs upended BBE by scores of 9-0 and 23-5. Thank you to all the fans who supported the 50/50 raffle for the Hanan family. The day was capped off with the annual Parent Home Run Derby contest on Parent's Day. Way to go Cubs! #KimballSoftball
Kimball Robotics Team 739-D had a great day of competition on May 10 and is 5-3 overall at the 2025 World Championships in Dallas, TX. The Cubs have two more competitions tomorrow. Keep up the great work Kimball Robotics!

Kimball Softball had a successful Youth Night on May 9. Junior Riley Fischer hit a grand slam to help lift the varsity Cubs team to a 13-2 win over Annandale. Congrats also to junior Abby Fischer who swung for two home runs and 4 RBI's to lead the junior varsity Cubs squad to a 7-6 come-from-behind victory over the Cardinals. Kimball Schools have been attending field trips at Deep Portage since 1989. The Kimball 6th grade class enjoyed three days at the learning center in Hackensack this week, May 7-9. The students enjoyed hiking outdoors, wall climbing, archery, canoeing, learning about landforms, survival tactics, camp fires and much more. Thank you to the 6th grade teachers, Mrs. Greniger, Mrs. Schaunaman and Mr. Lilienthal, for their leadership and for organizing an incredible trip. Our Cubs made memories for a lifetime. #KimballProud
