On Saturday, December 13, four Kimball Robotics teams attended the PACT Charter School VEX Robotics Competition. Out of the attending teams, both 739B and 739G took home awards: 739B was awarded the Innovative Award as well as the Robot Skills Champion Award, and 739G took home the Judges Award.

Kimball Area junior high girls basketball teams had a successful night against EVW on Dec. 16. The 7th graders cruised past the Eagles while the 8th graders came from behind to force double overtime and fall by just 2 points. Way to go Cubs! #KimballHoops

Kimball Area Robotics had strong showings on Dec. 13 at the PACT Charter tournament.
Team 739A led the pack throughout the day, finishing the qualifications round in first place with a 6-1 record.
They chose team 739B for their alliance partner in the finals, ultimately finishing the day in second place.
Team 739B won the Skills competition with a score of 58, out-pacing the rest of the field by 20 points. Team 739B also won the Innovate Award with an innovative "hopper agitator" design to solve a cube flow issue in their robot.
Team 739G earned the Judges Award.
Team 739C was able to show off the effective scoring of their "revolver" design.
Way to go Cubs!

Kimball boys wrestling placed 7th out of 10 teams with 79 points at the Delano Invitational on Dec. 13. Senior Mark Schiefelbein led the way for the Cubs with a 1st place finish in his respective weight class of 160 pounds.

Kimball's 7th grade girls basketball team won 3 straight games on Dec. 13 to win the 2025 Central Minnesota Conference Championship. The Cubs defeated Royalton 36-12, edged Paynesville 26-25, and relied on tough defense in the title game to hold off Maple Lake 22-16 and earn 1st place honors. Way to go Cubs! #KimballHoops

Congratulations to all of the basket raffle winners that were announced during last night's K-2 Concert at Kimball Elementary. Thank you to PIE, our amazing parent group, for your tireless effort in organizing, printing tickets, collecting donations and putting the baskets together. You are all amazing and we appreciate everything you do for our staff and students! The group was able to put together over 90 baskets and gift certificates through the generous donations of staff, families, community members and local businesses.
