Kimball Area High School held a Veterans Day program to honor both past and present veterans.
Thank you to Nathan Foster, who currently serves as the maintenance supervisor and safety officer at the flight facility at Camp Ripley, who spoke about the history of our country, the importance of thanking and appreciating our veterans, and reminding us all of how fortunate we are to live with the freedoms that we have in the United States of America. Kimball's varsity band and choir programs performed at the program as well. Thank you also to the Kimball Auxiliary for sharing with us the importance of how an American flag is folded, and explaining the symbolism of the POW-MIA Ceremony table. The EVWK Cross Country program hosted its 2025 team banquet on Nov. 2. Congrats to the five senior runners who completed their prep careers this fall, including Kimball runners Brooklyn Molitor and Andray Stang. Kimball Area Junior Olympic Volleyball program is hosting its team placement practice for current 6th and 7th graders today, Nov. 2, from 1-2:30 pm at the Kimball Area High School. Park in the south lot and enter door #10. Parents are not allowed to stay for practice, only players and coaches are allowed to stay in the gym.
Players currently in 8th-11th grade will have their team placement practice next Sunday, Nov. 9, from 6-7:30 pm at the high school.
