Kimball 12U Blue baseball completed their summer season on July 19-20, taking 2nd place in the 12-A Bronze bracket of the Crow River end-of-year tournament. The Cubs lost their first game against St. Joeseph, 4-12. They regrouped and rallied to beat Hutchinson White, 12-4, and Hutchinson Black, 13-3, to secure the runner-up honors. Kimball 14U Gold finished 3rd out of 13 teams on July 19-20 at the Crow River 14U State qualifier. The Cubs went 3-2 at the tournament with wins over Howard Lake Waverly Winsted Blue 13-0, Central White 6-2, and Central Maroon (the #1 seed) 7-5. In the second day of competition, the Cubs endured tough losses to Dassel-Cokato 9-1 and Central Maroon 10-9. The squad has now qualified for the 14U State Tournament this weekend at Chisago Lakes High School. Good luck Cubs! #KimballCommunityEd

Congratulations to the Kimball 14U Softball squad that took 3rd place in the NL-S tourney on July 12. The Cubs went 2-1 on the day with an 8-7 victory over Sleepy Eye, a tough 1-4 loss to Lester Prairie Sandlot Sisters travel team and a big 17-14 win over BOLD.
