Kimball Area 5th graders in Mrs. Hunt's class and Ms. Steinemann's class completed the Junior Achievement curriculum before winter break. JA Our Nation® introduced students to essential aspects of our nation’s economy, skill development, career exploration, and community involvement. Students learned how their skills and actions contribute to their own success and to the economy. Through hands-on games and activities, students discovered how competition and innovation work, explored different career options, and learned the value of giving back to their community. Way to go Cubs! #KimballProud

Kimball boys basketball played 3 exciting games against Royalton on Dec. 16 in CMC action. The C squad team edged the Royals, 33-32, while the Cubs JV squad won in thrilling fashion as freshman Jonah Klein hit a last-second 3 pointer to lift the Cubs to a 54-51 victory! Kimball's varsity team trailed the Royals by 14 points at halftime and fought back in the second half to erase the deficit and take the lead. The Cubs would eventually fall short, 56-58, in the heartbreaking loss. Way to go Cubs! #KimballHoops
