After 40 years of working in the Kimball School District, Barb Froehling is retiring. Barb is our district technology director. Barb's last day with the district will be Monday, Sept. 30. We celebrated Barb with cake today and Superintendent Erik Widvey presented Barb with the 40 year service bell.
Barb, we wish you a retirement filled with family memories, new beginnings, and the fulfillment of all your dreams! Thank you for all you have done for Kimball Schools, we will miss you!



Congratulations to the FFA Trapshooting Team!
They will compete at the STATE TOURNAMENT tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 28) in Marshall. The team shoots at 11:30. Team Members include: Jameson Chapman, Cruz Gohmann, Tayler Verhey, Tyler Wylie and Jonny Serbus. They are coached by Matt Serbus, Josh Wylie and Tony Verhey. Good Luck Cubs!!

This Friday; Sept 27, Varsity Football will travel to Maple Lake. This will be Maple Lake's Tackle Cancer Night, they will have 2 baskets to bid on as well as raffle tickets for sale.
Basket #1 is a sports themed basket and also includes a B-dubs gift card.
Basket #2 is a movie night basket with treats, popcorn, and rootbeer.
Raffle tickets available for $5 each with the drawing at halftime.
Together we can tackle cancer!

Kimball Area Community Ed had over 60 youth in grades K-4 showcase their football skills at halftime of the varsity game on Sept. 20. Congrats to the Cubs who cruised past Royalton by a score of 56-6 to improve to 4-0 on the season. Way to go Cubs! #KimballCommunityEd

Seniors explored over 120 career options at a career fair including law enforcement, heavy equipment operator, construction, drone technology, medical, engineering, education, and so much more. Thank you to Big Lake Schools for hosting a great event.

EV-W-K Cross Country hosted a 7-team meet on Sept. 19 at the Kimball Golf Club. Senior runner Henry Lemke led all runners with a time of 17:04 in the 5000m race. Congrats to all of the junior high, junior varsity and varsity runners who participated today. #CrossCountry

Varsity Football had a big win against Paynesville on Friday. Both teams were 2-0, and the Cubs came out with the Win 36-6. Way to go Cubs! Cubs are now 3-0!
