Congratulations to Brookelyn Kuechle and Peyton Hooper who signed NCAA Division II National Letters of Intent on Nov. 8. Kuechle plans to run cross country and track and field at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, while Hooper will run track and field at Southwest Minnesota State University next year. Congrats to EV-W-K cross country runner Henry Lemke who finished in 9th place at the 2023 Class AA State Championships on Nov. 4. The junior crossed the finish line in 16:00.80 to earn All-State honors. Way to go Henry!

Please do not park in the south lot of the high school tonight. Residents should be aware that there will be an increased presence of emergency vehicles in the area during this time. Kimball Area Community Ed had 14 students in grades 3-4 complete a 4-week session of Vex GO Robotics programming this month. Thank you to the volunteer parents who coached this group of students to build and control team robots. Teamwork works. #KimballRobotics

Over 170 community members enjoyed the Halloween Festival in Kimball on Oct. 29. Festivities included a Trunk-or-Treat outside and a Haunted House and Carnival games inside. Thank you to the Kimball Fine Arts Booster Club, FFA members and high school students who volunteered at the event. All proceeds will benefit the Fine Arts high school trip to Nashville and Memphis in March of 2024. A spook-tacular time was had by all!
