The Kimball HS Trap Team qualified for the The Minnesota State High School League State Championship this Friday, June 23rd, at the Minneapolis Gun Club – Prior Lake, MN!! There will be a send off Friday morning at 6:30am at the Kimball Rod and Gun Club! Our team of 5 to represent Kimball are: Kaden Fruth, Sawyer Kenning, Alex Zoller, Mason Christensen, and Sawyer Denny. Gavin Mesenrbrink & Tayler Verhey are our supporting alternate shooters. Kimball had two 10U teams play in their home tournament on June 11. Congrats to 10U Gold for earning 1st place in a thrilling 4-3 victory in the championship game. Thank you to the Kimball Fire Department for providing the fields with much-needed water, to the varsity softball players who umpired and to the Kimball Sports Boosters for hosting a successful two-day event. EV-W-K Girls' Track and Field continued their excellence at the 2023 State Class A Championships with the following finishes and multiple new school records: 4x100 relay-6th place 4x200 relay-2nd place Brookelyn Kuechle-2nd in 800m Ellie Kuechle-2nd in 400m (56.69) Jocelyn Zoller-4th in 300 hurdles Brielle Kuechle-4th in 100m hurdles #KimballProud

Kimball Area Public Schools is seeking applicants for a full-time (1 FTE) Long Term Substitute Math Teacher from approximately Sept 7 – Nov 27, 2023. As a long term substitute, you’ll teach two classes including Math 7 and Linear Algebra. Your work day will be from 8:00 a.m. – 3:05 p.m. and will follow the school calendar found on our website. A lesson outline will be provided for you as you will be using Big Ideas Math curriculum. A typical class will include 22 learners.

AmeriCorps Seniors Foster Grandparent Program For Grandma Judy, getting involved in the Foster Grandparent Program was an easy decision. She believes, “Children are our future; we need to support them and their education.” Judy serves at Kimball Elementary and is simply awed by how the students’ faces light up when she comes into the classroom. She hopes others join the program to experience the joy of these smiling faces; “You will get back as much as you give.” The Foster Grandparent Program is looking for more volunteers age 55+ to make a difference in the lives of children at Kimball Elementary for the 2023-24 school year.
