Congratulations to 4 of our FFA members who received their State Degree on Monday night at the University of Minnesota. Jackson Fink, Austin Kunkel, Bryce Lindberg and William Serbus. The State Degree is the highest award a state FFA association can bestow upon its members. It is awarded at State Convention. The State Degree recipients earn a charm that can be worn on the official jacket or on a gold chain. They got to walk across the stage at University of Minnesota Williams Arena as they announce their name in front of 5000 kids competing at state. Congratulations Jackson, Austin, Bryce and William! Go Cubs.


Kimball Area Community Ed's School of Fish class was a success on April 24. Mike Frisch prepared 18 new students for future fishing. Students brought home a fishing rod, tackle box, instructional workbook and a fishing hat. Thank you to the volunteer parents who assisted with the class as well. This class was made possible through donations from the Kimball Rod and Gun Club, Kimball Lions, Kimball Legion and the Kimball Fire Department. Thank you for your support! #KimballCommunityEd

Kimball High School would like to Congratulate our Athletic Director Clay Anderson for receiving the Region 5A, Subsection 20, Athletic Director of the year for the 2022-23 school year. Clay also received an award from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association in recognition of 20 years of Outstanding Service in Athletic Administration. Clay has been with Kimball since the 2020-21 school year. Congratulations Clay! We are proud to have you as a Cub.

Kimball's living legend Leo Wirth hosted a free umpire clinic on April 7 for Kimball students in the Wirth Gym. If you are looking for a summer job and enjoy working outdoors, please consider umpiring youth softball and baseball through Kimball Area Community Ed during the months of June and July.
