Good morning Kimball Families, Attached is the meal sign up for teacher planning days-student distance learning day and full-time distance learning families for the month of March. Please read the meal sign up very carefully. This contains important information. Full-time distance learning families will need to pick up meals on Mondays for the week and arrange the time with FSD. On Teacher Planning Days/Student Distance Learning Day meals will be sent home with student/students the day before. We will not be delivering meals to homes. Preschool/Enrichment/Cubs Club parents meals will be ordered by the staff-no need to signup. Hello Kimball School Families, I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out with an updated school schedule for students in grades PreK-12 for March 1st - May 27th. Beginning March 1st, students in grades K-12 will attend school in person, Monday-Friday, EXCEPT the following dates: March 3: Teacher planning day / Distance Learning for Students March 17: Teacher planning day / Distance Learning for Students March 31-April 2: Spring Break for Students April 9: Teacher planning day / Distance Learning for Students April 23: Teacher planning day / Distance Learning for Students May 7: Teacher planning day / Distance Learning for Students May 21: Teacher planning day / Distance Learning for Students The planning days are required by Executive Order as we still have a number of families choosing distance learning, as well as students who may need to quarantine due to illness. We currently have a number of staff providing in person and distance learning instruction at the same time and we will have students needing to quarantine. The planning time for teachers is required to provide the time needed to prepare to offer both forms of instruction. Mrs. Bonnifield and Mr. Timmerman will provide updated schedules and procedural information for their respective buildings as needed. Preschool and Enrichment will have in-person learning on April 9 and 23, and May 7 and 21, as originally planned. Busing will be available, before and after school. Cubs Club school age child care will be available for students in grades K-5 on March 3, 17, 31 / April 1, 9, 23 / May 7, 21. Fees will be charged for before and after school times (6:30-8 am and 3-5:30 pm). Enrichment programming (fee-based) will be available on March 3 and 17 for our enrolled Preschool students. Busing will be available, before and after school. Food Service/Meals: During these Teacher Planning Days/Distance Learning Days we need to supply meals. Food Service will be sending out a Google sign-up sheet for these days. Parents will need to sign up and meals will be sent home the day before. There will be no delivery of meals to homes. Students should have an insulated lunch bag to keep their meals cool. The meals will be distributed at the end of the school day.
