Kimball had 22 students enjoy a School of Fish class on April 14. Mike Frisch, a pro angler and fishing TV show host, taught students about lakes, finding fish in those lakes, and some great ways to catch them. They also learned how to tie a fishing knot and rig and use a slip-bobber set-up. Thank you to our volunteers who assisted at the class, and to the donations from the Kimball Rod and Gun Club, Kimball Lions, Kimball Legion and Kimball Fire Department to keep the cost of the class low and affordable for our families. The first practice for Kimball youth baseball (Gr. 3-6) is scheduled for next Tuesday, April 19, from 6:30-8:00 pm in the HS Wirth Gym. Drop-off at Door #10 on the south side of the facility. There is a Parent Meeting from 7:30-8:00 pm in the HS Cafetorium on April 19 as well (enter Door #10). Bring a water bottle, glove and any other equipment that you may already have. Congratulations to all of Kimball’s youth wrestlers on a successful 2021-22 season. The season ended on a high note with Ivan Cook, Teagan Van Nurden and Oliver Zwack participating at the NYWA State Tourney in Rochester on April 1-3, while Isaac Kuseske wrestled at the USMC Folkstyle Nationals in Cedar Rapids, IA, on April 1-3.
