Good afternoon parents and staff I am writing you with an update in regards to a positive COVID case related to our transportation department. Due to MDH guidance, transportation will not be available for students until November 10th. At this time the school district is planning on staying with the learning model currently in place, in person at KES and hybrid at KAHS. In addition, activities, Cubs Club, Preschool and Enrichment will continue to follow their current plans. To make this happen we will need parents of non-drivers to transport their student(s) to and from school starting Thursday, October 29-Friday November 6th. Wednesday’s will continue to be distance learning days. If you are unable to transport your student(s) during this time please contact your child’s school. In addition, please check your email as each building will be sending out information to you in regards to transporting your child as well as information in the event you are unable to. Please know we are striving to do what we can to stay in our current model and we appreciate your help and support during this time. Please check your email for information from your student’s school. Please stay well and take care.

Driver's Ed class is still scheduled from 3:15-6:15 pm in the HS Business Office today (Oct. 27). There is a PARENT MEETING at 6:15 pm, only 1 parent/guardian required to attend. Please wear a mask. Students and parents, enter through Door #2 on the north side of facility.

Menu changes for this week at the Elementary: Thursday, October 29th Breakfast choices are Brekkie OR Cereal and Lunch is Hamburger on a Bun OR BBQ Chicken Sandwich. Friday, October 30th Breakfast choices are: Cinnamon Roll OR Cereal and Lunch is Cheese Pizza OR Deli Sub. High School menu remains the same. Look at website for updated November menu

VEX IQ Robotics practice is still scheduled from 3-5 pm today (Oct. 27) in the HS cafetorium for Gr. 4-6. Please drop-off and pick-up students at Door #10 (south side). Go Cubs!

Great News! The water bottles have arrived! If you ordered one, please make arrangements to pick it up at the High School between 7:00-3:30. If you need me to send it to the elementary, let me know!

7th and 8th grade Volleyball for today, Tues., Oct. 27 at Maple Lake has been cancelled. There will be no practice today. Game is rescheduled for Nov. 24.

Good evening Kimball School Families and Staff This is Erik Widvey, Superintendent of schools calling. I apologize for the late message. The school district became aware of a positive COViD case related to our transportation department late this evening. Due to this information, and with student and staff safety in mind, Kimball Area Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, October 27th. All school staff is to report at normal time. Cubs Club will be open regular hours but no meals will be served or delivered. All after school activities, including CE, will go on as scheduled. If your student is a non-driver, we are asking parents to provide transportation for their students to participate in these activities.
