Congratulations to the Kimball Girl's Wrestling squad that competed at Rogers on Dec. 28. Junior wrestler Abby Fischer placed 2nd overall in the advanced bracket, sophomores Veronica Reek and Kylie VanNurden both placed 3rd in their respective weight classes, while junior Gabby Davis placed 7th. As the year of 2024 comes to a close, the district would like to congratulate the Kimball Football squad again on a historic season. Senior Hank Meyer capped off the exciting season being selected to the 2024 Minnesota State Vikings All-State Academic Team for Class AA. Hank was also selected to the Vikings All-State Team for athletics. Additionally, Hank participated in the All-Star game on Dec. 14 at U.S. Bank Stadium. Lastly, Hank was selected as a Top-Ten finalist for the Mr. Football Award on Dec. 15. Hank is the first player in Kimball's history to earn this prestigious award. Way to go Hank and way to go Cubs! #KimballProud

Congratulations to Mark Schiefelbein who earned his 125th career varsity win wrestling at Monticello on Saturday, Dec. 21. We are so proud of you Mark. Mark currently carries the highest win total currently on our team. He is also ranked 8th in the State of Minnesota at 152 pounds. Congratulations Mark Schiefelbein!!!


Boys Wrestling competed at a tough Monticello Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 21. Out of the 17 teams partaking Kimball had 3 place winners. Max Schiefelbein at 114# placed 4th, Miles Looman placed 4th at 121#, and Mark Schiefelbein placed 2nd at 152#. Go Cubs!




Match-ups for day two of the Kimball Boy's Basketball Holiday Tournament are set for Dec. 21. Games begin at 6:00 PM at the high school. Fans can park in the south lot and enter door #10. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Concessions (cash only) will be available at the event as well.

6:00 PM - Varsity game in Wirth Gym (3rd place game) - Kimball vs. Brandon-Evansville
